What Was So Special? "What a great family... and it's easy to see why these four are so terrific when you know their parents! So what was so special about this? The Cirilli children, led by oldest daughter, Maura (who was in the same class at Strath Haven High School as my own daughter, Liz), decided that Mom would love a portrait of them for her birthday. And darned if we didn't select the hottest day of the summer for this gathering at Swarthmore College (and don't they all just look so cool!?). What you are seeing here are some of the best athletes in the county. And I knew that when I first met them years ago... but then I met Kevin when he was onstage at Strath Haven Middle School... and he was terrific! I knew he was an athlete, but a super stage performer too? Yep! So I've been around this family (with and without my camera) for many years, so to have the chance to photograph them for their mom was quite a treat for me... EVEN with all that heat. And then to have their parents thrilled with the images... well, I am blessed in so many ways!"
